Η Ελλάδα δεν αναζητά βοήθεια και δεν υπήρξε κανένα αίτημα για διάσωση. Η Κυβέρνησή μου δήλωσε ξεκάθαρα ότι θα επιλύσουμε τα προβλήματά μας μόνοι μας.

I believe that George Papandreou, the Greek Prime Minister, has had the courage to take the toughest of decisions and implement the severest of measures. But we also have to make sure he has the best possible advice. For example, in the first months of the year because of delays in the decisions to help Greece the cost to Greece of avoiding default grew from an estimated 30 billion to around 120 billion".
